Sometimes we need an extra push. We may need something else to work towards besides the constant thought of losing weight or maintaining fitness. We may need another type of goal to work towards that kicks us into gear and gets us training harder and feeling motivated.
Why not find an awesome challenge to get yourself back into training mode? This can include marathons, crossfit challenges, mud runs, big hikes, fitness competitions, or local gym and studio competitions. When we have something that we’re working towards and it has a deadline, there is more accountability and you are more likely to work towards it!
I recently started training for the MBody Strength Suburban Warrior Challenge In Orange County; this includes kettlebells, body weight, and running to test my strength and conditioning. Least to say…I’m a smidge nervous because it will be brutal, BUT I’m excited to see what I will be able to do. I have one month to get conditioned for this challenge! This challenge could not have come at a better time since I’m trying to get back to my peak training and fitness level. I’m super motivated, and knowing that I only have one month to step up my training and get ready helps keep me pumped and focused!
