Coming Soon: Geek Girl Brunch Miami

Girl PowerLifestyle

There’s nothing better than brunch with a group of girlfriends that get you. For me, gathering and chatting about life and likes over mimosas and yummy food definitely is on the top of my favorite things to do on any given Sunday.

With that said, I am a geek girl and I embrace it. You can probably tell by my Dirty and Thirty posts talking about books, movies and even movies turned into books (“Divergent,”Fifty Shades of Grey” and the upcoming “Insurgent”, anyone?) as well as my love for Marvel superheroes. Nothing makes me happier than letting myself be myself and just showcasing all those things that I love all at once. And I recommend you all do it as well, and how about you all join us in celebrating the joys of being your geeky self?

One of my close friends Melissa D. Lovio Sanchez, blogger at Melificent and I have been chosen as officers of Geek Girl Brunch Miami. With that said, you are all welcome to join and be a part of our first Harry Potter-themed brunch (themes change with every brunch) on Sunday, April 26. In this brunch, mimosas will flow, laughs will be had and we can all let our Geek Girl flag fly high and proud. Want to learn more about our brunches? Then check out our chapter page where you can get details on all about us, as well as our Facebook page.

Geek Girl Brunch is a meetup group of ladies who geek out together, typically when mimosas are involved. It started with a group of geek girls living in the NYC area, but has dreams of spreading across the states, world and alternate dimensions. Now we are coming to Miami!

Dirty and Thirty gals are the best gals and we look forward to seeing you there! So, what other themes would you like to see in an upcoming Geek Girl Brunch Miami? Tweet at me at @AuroraMiami and at us at @DirtyandThirty and we hope to see you there! Happy brunching!
