3 Habits of Fierce Females

Fierce females are no longer hiding under the wood work — they are here and here to stay. In fact, according to research conducted by Bank of America published in Fortune magazine, women are now more financially independent than men. To be more specific, 61 percent of women claim to have savings compared to 55 percent of men; 34 percent of women do their own taxes compared to 28 percent of men; and 38 percent of women pay their own rent compared to 32 percent of men. It’s not just financials that make a fierce lady, it’s all about mindset and everyday habits. So what are some habits of independent women? Lets take a look.

1. They Want to Protect Their Family and Home

Protecting the home and family is usually a main priority for any woman. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be as hard and complicated as you think, and you definitely don’t need a man around to feel safe. Nowadays, there are a number of high-tech security systems, including the new Wire-Free Security Camera Systems from Lorex; not only do they have a long-lasting battery, but they are wireless for increased portability. Most importantly, modern security systems have long-distance night vision so you no longer have to worry about your safety at night. It may seem tricky to set up, but these security systems are all made to have a DIY setup, so anyone can do it in an effective and efficient manner.

2. They Aren’t Afraid to Build and Fix Things

When it comes to the habits of independent women, a “can-do” attitude is at the top of the list. Whether it’s putting together Ikea furniture or fixing your car, there’s no need to ask a man to do it for you. Spend time looking at the manuals provided to you and don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty — the more you practice certain things, the easier it will become. And if all else fails, the best part about living in the 21st century is that all the information you need is available online. Activities you may like to try include building products and furniture, fixing issues with pipes, setting up technology and fixing your car. Don’t be afraid to give it all a go.

3. They Always Want to Learn

Independence is all about being self-sufficient and knowing that you can get through everyday life on your own two feet. In order to feel this confidence, it’s important to continue learning. Whether it’s politics, breaking news, new technologies and companies or reading up on different industries, furthering your education on a regular basis is a great way to remain informed. As a result, education can assist in finding new and different ways to do things, and may actually open you up to different professional and personal avenues. Something you thought was difficult or unattainable, will seem much simpler after learning more.

A fierce woman has a lot of wonderful attributes. It takes certain habits and a particular mindset to be self-sufficient, but it doesn’t have to be that hard. Take a look at some of the tendencies of independent females, and remember that women can do anything they want without outside help.
