Kaori is gamer host and make-up artist! A California girl who loves music, fashion, video games, make-up, traveling, and much related to popular culture. On her free time, she likes to keep active: Whether it’s sightseeing, rock-climbing, going to a concert, or eating out; Kaori never feels there’s a moment to waste.
At home, she was taught to cook and “never feel bad about spending money on food”. Her father is a Chef, and her mother is an excellent cook, so she grew up learning the different edges of tastes. Her brother would always ask her to play video games with him — She happily obliged, always eager to spend time with him. It’s never too late to enjoy gaming! Her all time favorite game is Final Fantasy II, but she sure likes Skyrim!
When she went to U.C. Berkeley, she decided to major in Popular Culture and Communications. She also went to Make-Up Designory and does Make-Up on her free time for weddings and photoshoots. Full time however, she loves social gatherings, and bringing out the nitty gritty of local, cultural events to all those interested.
Kaori moved to Japan in 2008, and came back in early 2010. During her time in Tokyo, she furthered her interest in journalism and created videos, documenting her excursions and experiences. This only confirmed to her that she wanted to share more with the world the many sights and do’s that she was so lucky to have seen.
Currently back in the U.S., Kaori plans to maintain this glorified hobby of documenting events and locations – pursuing a career in hosting and broadcast journalism.
She is fluent in French, conversational in Japanese. She has a broad knowledge of all things related to Popular Culture.
