Every girl loves a good brunch, especially when there’s good food and drinks involved! In this new column, I will explore some delicious dining options in sunny South Florida, where I reside and contribute to Dirty and Thirty!
My first pick is Casa Sensei in Fort Lauderdale. The chic restaurant opened in 2018 and has become a dining staple in the Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale, area.
Aside from serving unlimited champagne Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and Bellini’s for $20, the new menu offers 8 new entrees including Korean Steak and Eggs ($19) served with roasted fingerling potatoes, Pork Belly Burger ($14) served with Togarashi French Fries, Steak á Cavalo Fried Rice ($18) topped with a sunny-side-up egg, avocado and salsa and Togarashi Fried Chicken & Waffles ($14) topped with a Sriracha maple drizzle. Other menu highlights include the Latin Guava Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast ($11); Breakfast Tacos ($14) finished with a choice of eggs, beef, chicken or shrimp and Huevos Rancheros ($10). An alternative to a traditional brunch cocktail is the Sensei Tini ($10), a flavorful combination of Absolut Elyx Vodka, Junmai Sake, lemon juice, simple syrup and blueberry purée.
It’s making our mouth water already and hoping for Sunday to arrive already! There’s nothing better than kicking back and relaxing with girlfriends or your significant other in a great restaurant with a fantastic menu.
