Yes we all LOVE happy hour or coffee hangouts with our girlfriends or guys…BUT how about we refresh happy hour and coffee sessions! Instead of catching up over drinks and appetizers, go for a hike! Get outdoors, breathe some fresh air, get some vitamin D, and chat with your friends while getting your fitness on. Not only will you have the opportunity to talk to your friends about your fabulous lives, your body will be burning calories! Afterwards, you can hit up a local juice spot and get some fresh juice…mmm.
Walk, jog, do sprints, and even include exercise circuits! Check out some local trails in your neighborhood online and plan a get together with your friends. If you don’t have any trails around you, find a pretty neighborhood, park, beach trail, or track.
Want to add a quick circuit to your hike? Here you go! You can do these exercises 1- 3 times…at the beginning of the hike, middle, and/or end.
Circuit: 20 squats kicks 20 lunges (each leg)…can do walking lunges if you want 20 jumping jacks 20 jump squats
