Black and gold just go together…. and so does Kate Hudson and Alexander McQueen. She wins the award for best dressed and who I will deem the hottest woman at the Golden Globes 2013. This has been quite a year for Hudson post baby, she has been turning in steamy look after look since the Cannes Film Festival. Go girl, Glee does the body good!
My second fave of the evening is Katharine McPhee in Theyskens’ Theory. Va Va Voom! I am living for this deep V – I think Ms. McPhee just got on everyone’s fashion radar tonight.
Holy Hot Mama! Check out Claire Danes in Versace – hair, makeup, dress = perfection
Next we have Julianne Moore in Tom Ford, this woman can seriously never go wrong.
Jessica Alba killed it in this melon Oscar de la Renta and matching lip – bravo!
And finally, hello there Taylor Swift – backless!! I love this daring post Harry Styles T Swift in Donna Karan Atelier. The deep purple is divine.
Who was your favorite dressed at the Golden Globes? Did they make my list?

Oh, good question Jen! You know how I LOVE mveois. Every year I endeavor to see all the nominated mveois, but it\’s always a struggle getting them in before the Oscars. In Cincinnati we love our local boy, George Clooney, and this year everyone was excited to see the movie he filmed here last winter, Ides of March, and it did not disappoint. Between now and the Oscars I still have to see The Artist, The Iron Lady and probably Hugo. I\’m looking forward to these, but I also love smaller, quieter, and even sadder mveois. One movie that really stuck with me this year was 50/50, and Joseph Gordon Levitt is my new favorite actor. Joel Stein wrote a profile of him in Time magazine in September and it turned me into a true fan. I also saw Martin Sheen in The Way, a movie written and directed by his non-crazy son, Emilio Estevez. They are the 2/3rds of the Sheen family I like, and the movie was interesting and I have thought back to it several times. But if I had to choose one movie that I think about, that almost haunts me, it would have to be A Better Life. This story of an illegal immigrant in California struggling to create a life for his son and protect him from gang influences in L.A., is so beautifully written and acted, and rings so true to the issues in our country, it just broke my heart. It\’s available on DVD I highly recommend it!Kristi
